The Diabetes Program collaborates with the Medical and Pharmacy Departments to provide patients with diabetes — and those at risk — educational opportunities and improved access using the National Diabetes Prevention Program.
Yellowhawk Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP)
Our team uses evidence-based interventions to help prevent Type 2 diabetes in the CTUIR community. The program focuses on lifestyle changes — healthy eating and physical exercise — to help those with prediabetes reduce their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.
