Emergency Management
Oregon has experienced a recent cycle of emergencies and disasters — floods, drought, wildfires, ice storms, excessive heat, and a pandemic. Being prepared can make a big difference.
2 Weeks Ready
Each Oregon resident should proactively prepare to be self-sufficient for at least two weeks during a disaster. First responders may not be able to reach everyone impacted within hours or even days — especially in the event of a Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake and/or tsunami.
Being 2 Weeks Ready means having a plan and enough supplies for you and your household to survive on your own for a full two weeks should a disaster occur.

Container Belonging For Life
Container Belonging For Life provides important medical information for emergencies. This project is similar to the Vial of Life. The program helps people keep their complete medical details easily accessible at home for emergency responders. Quick access to medical history, medications, and emergency contacts is crucial during a crisis — primarily if a patient cannot communicate their needs. This program is especially beneficial for older adults or those with complex medical histories.
